Your pathogen body is a soft-body mesh with a fixed number of organelle slots that expand when you mutate during a run. Cancerous spreads on the mesh

When you duplicate an organelle for fusion, Cancerous can jump to adjacent slots. That is how a god-roll secretor accidentally buffs then breaks a mitochondria chain. Isolate Cancerous pieces on an external spike you rarely clone.

Ephemeral recycle (July 22 patch)

If an Ephemeral organelle is about to break and you have more than nine rooms left in the current organ, recycle it for resources instead of letting it vanish. This turned Ephemeral from a trap into a calculated gamble.

How do I fuse and stash organelles?

Two copies of the same organelle fuse into one copy of the next rarity tier with stronger numbers. Rarity colors match standard roguelike tiers from common through legendary. Some room rewards offer fusion directly; otherwise use the editor merge prompt.
